What are biological products?

Biological products refer to drugs that are made of substances such as protein that are produced by living organisms. On the other hand, traditional drugs are made of materials that are combined chemically. Vaccines, hormonal drugs such as insulin, blood products made of human blood, and antitoxin drugs (clostridium botulinum, diphtheria, etc...)  are also biological products in a broad sense. Biological products can suppress the activity of specific substances that cause an inflammation, so they are effective in treating symptoms of skin diseases such as itchiness and rashes. 

Our clinic prescribes biological product treatment to patients with the below diseases on whom existing treatment methods did not have sufficient effect.
