Pico Laser

 

The latest laser therapy machine that works in picosecond laser pulses (1 trillionth of a second). It aims at the target pigment through an athermal photo-acoustic effect. Because the irradiation time is short, damage to the skin is reduced substantially. A therapy equipment with little risk and great effects.

３．Pico Toning

Limelight

Covers a wide range of wavelengths (520 –1100 nm) absorbing both melanin and hemoglobin. Because the irradiation area is large, redness or dark spots near the surface of the skin can be treated effectively in a short time. It is also effective for liver spots which other lasers could not treat until now.

• pigmentation of dark spots / freckles, and liver spots
• capillary dilatation (reddish face), acne rosacea, and other various symptoms such as acne.

Acutip

Irradiation of a relatively short wavelength (500 –635 nm) that has a high degree of absorption of melanin and hemoglobin. Because the area being irradiated is small, this laser treatment is ideal for specific areas.

In contrast to regular laser treatments, this treatment does not require you to put on a gauze or a plaster after the procedure, so you can apply makeup right away.

Rejuvenation

A treatment that prompts the regeneration of collagen by adding heat to the skin layer (dermis) below the skin surface (epidermis) without damaging the skin. It also prevents the production of dark spots.

The treatment irradiates the skin from a distance so there is little pain during the treatment and there is no need for an aftertreatment. You can apply makeup right after the treatment.

Laser treatment for veins

The Long-Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser is used for vein treatment at our clinic. The laser energy is absorbed by hemoglobin (red) in the blood and by coagulating the vein, it is possible to seal this vein with minimal damage to the surrounding tissues. Also effective for senile angioma, nevus araneus, capillary dilatation, acne rosacea, varicose vein, simple angioma, or strawberry nevus.

Laser treatment for viral warts

By using the Long Pulsed Nd: YAGLaser, an appropriate amount of heat is applied to the area where there is a viral growth, suppressing the growth. It is effective for viral warts (verruca). Treatment for patients for whom the liquid nitrogen treatment covered by insurance does not have any effect.

Medical laser hair removal

By irradiating and selectively heating melanin, the basal stem cells in the follicle that causes hair growth get destroyed without causing any damage to the skin surface or surrounding tissues. It is therefore a safe and effective way of removing hair. Laser hair removal is most effective when performed several times at the right timing during the hair growth cycle (at intervals of 6 weeks).

 

What is the hair growth cycle?

There are 3 main phases in a hair’s life cycle:

Anagen Phase (the active growth phase)→Catagen Phase (the transitional phase)→Telogen Phase (the shedding phase). The laser is most effective on hair that is in its active growth phase, and this is why the hair removal process cannot be completed at once.
